Membership Rights and Privileges

Why do I have to affiliate with the National Federation? I am not getting anything from the Federation anyway. Where does my membership fee go?

As a member of the Federation, a JPIAn is entitled to the following rights and privileges:

Federation ID Card
To be properly identified as a member of the Federation, the Executive Board deemed it necessary for the members to have an official Federation ID card. This would serve as a "pass" for every activity of the Federation.

NFJPIA Official Magazine: THE JPIAn
Released at least twice a year, the magazine shall include articles featuring famous and not-so-famous JPIAns, major activities sponsored by local chapters all over the country and other trivial facts. In line with this, the Editorial Board is inviting and encouraging correspondents and budding writers from local chapters to contribute articles and photos of activities and other materials and issues related to the well-being of the JPIAn and/or the Federation. Every member is entitled to a copy of every issue of The JPIAn.

NFJPIA Official Newletter: NEWSBITS
Every local chapter shall receive a copy of the newsletter. It shall feature the Federation's activities, pertinentn information, and updates of the Federation.

Free access to the PICPA library
For research purposes, one is entitled to free access to the said library located at the 3rd Floor, PICPA Building, 7000 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.

Guest Speakers and Judges
The National Federation could help provide Guest Speakers and Judges for local chapters and regional activities of JPIA that need participation of the above-mentioned people; provided that, the requesting local chapter/region pays for the transportation and accomodation needs of the guest, unless otherwise specified.

Sponsorships
The Federation's corporate sponsors include the four (4) biggest auditing firms in the country, namely: SGV & Co., Joaquin Cunanan & Co., Laya Mananghaya & Co., and Punongbayan and Araullo. These prestigious auditing firms could also sponsor major activities of local chapters and regional councils; provided however that, the requesting local chapter/region prepares all the necessary sponsorship packages and related papers for the sponsorship of an activity.

National Federation Activities
The regular members of this Federation through their representatives shall have the following rights and privileges:

The right to participate in the discussion in all assemblies of the Federation;
The right to vote on issues regarding the activities and endeavors of the Federation and to question matters which may arise therein; and
The right to inspect the records and financial reports of the Federation kept in the principal office of the Federation at any reasonble time.

The regular members of the Federation shall individually or collectively have the right to be informed of any project and/or activity of the Federation and shall have the responsibility to participate in such undertaking.
